This site was a labor of love when I started on AOL in 1996.

It was one of the first 20 websites published from their website making campaign.
I have had a passion for Japanese Hard Rock music since the 80's (yes I know I might seem old to the SNS crowd). I lived in Japan from 93 to 96.
So I decided to introduce the world to Japanese Music. Although the majority of my site content was stolen buy other websites in the 2000's(which I got no credit for)
I am happy the way the music has taken off since the advent of YouTube in 2005. You are now able to search any band that you may have heard of and Bingo!! It is there.
Not, not sure about the Copyright Laws of most of the stuff people are posting but still you can find it.
Therefore, I will not continue to push the music on a general level but I will update the BLOG section with content that I think you should really know.
One more thing….. Asian Music Underground is for Asian Music so this will include Korean, Chinese, and other Asian countries making great music. AMU(Asian Music Underground) is also coming to you live
